Con buona pace di Activision che nel febbraio 2011 ha abbandonato il progetto, Sleeping Dogs debutta alla posizione numero uno in Inghilterra. Il gioco Square-Enix batte persino New Super Mario Bros 2 per 3DS, che debutta direttamente in seconda posizione. Terzo posto per London 2012, il videogioco ufficiale delle Olimpiadi di Londra.
