La classifica relativa al mercato giapponese aggiornata alla scorsa settimana e distribuita oggi da Media Create racconta di un calo generale nell’hardware per tutte le console, passato il periodo di grosse uscite se si fa eccezione di 2nd Super Robot Wars Z: Saisei-hen, che infatti conquista subito la prima posizione della classifica software.
Un crollo nelle vendite hardware che va però a confermare quanto si è detto e stradetto nelle ultime settimane: a dominare è sempre il Nintendo 3DS, mentre PlayStation 3 e PSP tengono alta la bandiera Sony macchiata da una PlayStation Vita ora davvero in crisi nera: la nuova console portatile è scesa infatti sotto la soglia delle 10.000 unità settimanali.
PS Vita raggiunge così la cosiddetta “Jaguar Zone” con le sole 8.931 unità vendute la scorsa settimana. È l’ennesimo record negativo di una console che a quattro mesi dal debutto non riesce ancora a conquistare i cuori dei giapponesi: colpa di uscite di richiamo che effettivamente mancano, colpa forse anche del prezzo elevato rispetto al rivale Nintendo 3DS. Ma una cosa è certa: Sony dovrà subito correre ai ripari per salvare la sua seconda console portatile prima che sia troppo tardi.
In tutto questo splende la luce di 2nd Super Robot Wars Z: Saisei-hen con oltre 265.000 copie vendute nella settimana di debutto. In seconda posizione si conferma, anche se con numeri deludenti, Kingdom Hearts 3D -Dream Drop Distance per Nintendo 3DS. Debutto così così per Kinect: Star Wars in una terra difficile per il marchio Xbox 360: dodicesimo con poco più di 6.000 unità vendute. Questi i dati al completo:
